We are a group of Italian vehicle enthusiasts based in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
Our members own Alfa Romeos, Ducatis, Ferraris, Fiats, Lamborghinis, Lancias, Maseratis, Vespas and other Italian marques.
Our biggest event is ItalianCarFest™, an all-Italian vehicle show held every year in Grapevine, Texas.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: Change in format of the Monthly Business Meeting
During the January meeting, the decision was made to discontinue the practice
of holding the Business Meeting in conjuction with other events. This decision was taken
in concert with our goal of providing as many drives and events as possible throughout the
year for our membership to enjoy. It is no longer desirable to bog down these events with
the tedium of the Business Meeting. Beginning in April, the Business Meeting will be held
at the usual place and time with mandatory participation required of the officers only. All members,
however, are invited to attend if they so desire. Each month, Bob Dezzany will
continue to inform the
membership via Email of the Meeting time and date as well as information regarding the
event for that month.
SPECIAL Regular Monthly Meeting and "Field Trip"
K1 SPEED and Boston's Restaurant and Sports Bar
March 18th, 2017
We will be having a special event at K1 SPEED in Arlington, where we'll enjoy Mini-Grand Prix
electric go-kart racing! Immediately after, we'll have our regular monthly Meeting at Boston's Restaurant and Sports Bar.
See the Calendar of Events page for complete information.
On a sad note......
Autos in the Park at the Cooper Aerobics Center is no more.
Bob Dezzany, our ICF™ Chairman, has learned through Jack Griffin, Coordinator of Autos in the Park for many years,
that the event has been permanently cancelled. Jack indicated that his own pressing duties, combined with
the desires of the Cooper Aerobics Center Board of Directors to discontinue the show were cited as the cause
of its demise. We at the ICCSW would like to thank Jack and the Center for all of their hard work in producing
one of the finest shows in the DFW area for over a decade.
January Meeting and "Field Trip" to Lamborghini Dallas - Richardson, Texas
January 14th, 2017
We had a fantastic opening to our 2017 year with a meeting hosted by Lamborghini Dallas!
The dealership provided their lunch room for us to have our meeting and enjoy lunch
provided by the Club from Aboca's Italian restaurant. After our meeting and lunch, our
hosts, Travis and Brittany, gave us a tour of the entire facility. For those of you
who attended, thank you for making our opening meeting a fantastic time! Many thanks
to Travis, Brittany and the rest of the Lamborghini Dallas staff for making us
so welcome and also to member Tom Perkowsky for initiating the event and acting
as our liaison.
ICCSW Annual After-Holiday Dinner Report
The Olive Garden - Grapevine, Texas
January 14th, 2017
Our Annual January Dinner: A Smashing Success!! We had a terrific social evening
at the cocktail hour and dinner on Saturday at the Olive Garden in Grapevine.
For those of you who attended, most with spouses and significant others, we thank
you for coming and making the party so much fun! For those of you who could
not make it, let me share some highlights of the evening.
Folks began showing up right after 6:00 pm, some of us we're there right at six!
The cocktail hour gave us all a chance to socialize and talk to everyone, some old
friends, some 'new' friends. Being in a private room, conversation was a joy!
We've missed being able to do that for a few years. The cocktail hour is a permanent
part of the evening from here forward as is the private room!
We began the dinner with Randy welcoming everyone and then moving right to election
of officers for 2017. Randy then went to our fabulous door prizes, yes, as in two
door prizes! The wait staff assisted and drew names for the occasion.
The first, "Cars, Cars and More Cars" - consisted of a coffee table book
Cars: A Celebration by Quentin Willson, the animated movie Cars;
and a CD: Just What I Needed: The Cars Anthology by the band The Cars. Kevin Burns
won this one.
The second, "An Italian Dinner For Two" – consisted of imported Italian pasta, sauce,
wine, Italian olive oil and more! I think you get the point. This was won by Bob Dezzany.
Thanks to all who could join us at the event!. E 'stato fantastico, con un buon tempo aveva da tutti!
We'll see you all next year!

The following club members were winners at ABCDE in the Italian class:

Congratulations to our winning club members!
Keels & Wheels 2016
April 23 - 24, 2016
Lakewood Yacht Club
Two of our club members won awards at this most prestigious event. Val Herrera took home the Silver Award in the Italian Miscellaneous class with his gorgeous 1971 Alfa Romeo Junior Zegato.
It took a 1957 Dual Ghia to keep him out of 1st place, so the competition was fierce! Likewise, Gordon Sauer took the Silver Award in the European Post-war class
with his 1972 Citroen SM. Top honors in this class went to a 1973 Citroen D Super "Goddess". Congratulations to our club winners.
The boys did good!
